Alumnae Member Reunions
Reunions are celebrations of what we have received through Tri Delta—the friendships that shape us, values that unite us and traditions that ground us. Together, we celebrate not only where we’ve been but also the bright future ahead, knowing that our Tri Delta sisterhood will forever be a source of love, support and inspiration.
Planning a new member class reunion is the perfect way to not only renew your love for Tri Delta, but also rekindle friendships with your sisters. They’re a chance to reconnect with the sisters who were there from the very beginning—your recruitment journey. Together, you’ll share laughter over old memories and create new ones that celebrate the lasting beauty of our sisterhood.

Annual Events
Founders’ Day
Founders’ Day is traditionally a late fall celebration of Tri Delta’s founding on Thanksgiving Eve 1888. This celebration is the cornerstone of many alumnae chapter calendars and provides a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and celebrate our rich history with collegiate chapter(s) in the area.
Pansy Celebration
Celebrating our collegiate members’ graduation and Circle Degree, the third and final degree of Initiation, dates as far back as 1908 when a “pansy luncheon” was hosted by alumnae chapters. Later, in 1927, the first official Pansy Breakfast was hosted by Theta Xi Chapter at the University of Southern California. The tradition quickly spread across the country and was the topic of a LIFE Magazine photo essay in 1945. Now, each year, we host Pansy Celebrations with collegiate and alumnae chapters to celebrate this ceremony with our graduating seniors.
Chapter Anniversaries
Alumnae Chapter Anniversaries
Many alumnae chapters celebrate the founding of their chapter on significant milestone years, traditionally 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 years. Sometimes, these anniversaries are celebrated during a regularly scheduled event, but they are also often a stand-alone event for all current and past members of the chapter.
Collegiate Chapter Anniversaries
Collegiate chapter alumnae often partner with the collegiate chapter officers and the local alumnae chapter to plan for a celebration of significant anniversaries of the chapter’s installation. In many cases, the collaborative planning between collegiate and alumnae members leads to a meaningful and larger-scale celebration event.
