What is Convention?
Tri Delta hosts Convention every two years in the summer months. Tri Deltas from across the globe gather together for a weekend of connection, content and celebration. ALL members are invited and encouraged to attend! You can expect inspirational keynotes and interactive workshops, tons of networking opportunities, a celebration of our beautiful Ritual and Milestone Ceremonies and, of course, a ton of fun to be had with your Tri Delta sisters. Attendees also participate in the legislative process during the 2024 Business Meeting.

Who is invited to Convention?
Convention is for ALL members! Collegiate chapters are required to send their president or an assigned delegate to participate in the entire event and vote during the Business Meeting.

Is Convention required?
- Convention attendance is required for collegiate chapter presidents who are slated in the spring of 2024 and whose term begins on Aug. 1. If the president is not able to attend, they need to work with their volunteer team to assign an alternate delegate to serve in their place.
- Alumnae chapters are strongly encouraged to send a delegate to represent their membership. This can be the chapter president or an assigned alternate delegate.

What is the cost of attending Convention?
General Registration for Convention 2024 is $499. There are also options to attend individual days or events at different prices. Review these on the Packages & Pricing page of the website.
What costs are covered for voting delegates?
Tri Delta will cover transportation and double occupancy hotel costs for voting delegates. Delegates should use the code “Delegate2024” at the start of registration to take advantage of these discounts.
The chapter will be responsible for covering the registration fee, which is $449 for delegates.
How do I book my travel?
Tri Delta will cover travel expenses for voting delegates and select attendees. Travel will be booked through our agents at TripEasy. The link to book your travel will be available on the confirmation page of your registration.
When do I need to arrive?
- Chapter presidents (alumnae and collegiate) should travel on Wednesday in order to be ready for pre-conference training sessions that begin on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. and include the required Business Meeting Orientation.
- General Convention attendees should arrive on Thursday in time for the Convention opening session at 5:00 p.m. CT.
How are hotel rooms handled?
Tri Delta will make reservations on your behalf based on the details provided during registration. Tri Delta will cover double occupancy hotel expenses for voting delegates and select volunteers, with the option to upgrade to a single occupancy room.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations and refunds will be processed as follows based on the date of cancellation. Cancellations must be submitted to events@trideltaeo.org.
Before June 26, 2024: Full Refund
June 27 – July 6, 2024: 50% Refund
After July 7: No Refund
If you booked a flight through our partners at TripEasy and need to cancel, please contact events@trideltaeo.org. Based on flight refund options and airline cancellation policies, we may ask that you purchase the flight from Tri Delta, so that the credit may be used for your own personal travel.
What meals will be served during Convention weekend?
- Thursday: Breakfast and lunch for chapter leaders; dinner for all attendees
- Friday: Morning coffee & donuts, lunch and dinner for all attendees
- Saturday: Full breakfast and bagged lunch for Business Meeting attendees; dessert/ snacks for all at Saturday is for Sisterhood
- Sunday: Brunch for all
- The JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes, has several food and beverage outlets on site.
What should I wear and pack for Convention?
- Thursday Chapter Leader Training: Tri Delta Casual
- Thursday Opening Session and Party: Tropical attire, sundress, florals, etc.
- Friday LEADDD: Business casual
- Friday Where Sisterhood Sparkles Dinner: Sparkles, sequin, shine & shimmer. Dress or jeans & top, this is not super formal.
- Saturday Business Meeting: Tri Delta Casual
- Saturday Sisterhood Night: Comfy Casual (matching set, athleisure)
- Sunday Pansy Brunch: Ritual Attire (white or pastel dress, pants, skirt)

Is there an app for Convention?
We’ll be using EventMobi as our mobile app for Convention. Registered attendees will receive instructions on how to access the app two weeks prior to Convention. The app is where attendees can find the event schedule, maps, attendee list and more. It is also where we will communicate with attendees throughout the weekend.
How should I get from the airports to the JW Marriott? Is transportation covered by Tri Delta?
We recommend Uber or Lyft to get to the JW Marriott from Orlando International Airport. Use the app to find other attendees arriving at the same time and share rides! Attendees are responsible for the cost of transportation between the airport and hotel.
What is Tri Delta Central?
Tri Delta Central is the heart of Convention, where you can find the registration and help desk, visit with Tri Delta’s Foundation and Tri Delta Housing, shop for Tri Delta merchandise and so much more!
How do I sign up to participate in a milestone ceremony?
You can sign up to participate in a Milestone Ceremony during registration. We will send additional details on next steps closer to the event.
