Thank you for stepping up as a Tri Delta Ambassador for our Day of Giving! Let’s make Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, truly unforgettable as we celebrate World Kindness Week. As an organization founded on the principle of being kind alike to all, there’s no better time for Tri Delta’s Day of Giving! Together we can assist our members in every possible way through Tri Delta’s Foundation.
Your role as an ambassador is so important.
Donors are four times more likely to contribute when asked by a friend or family member.
People are 16 times more likely to engage with a post shared by a friend rather than one posted by a brand themselves.
What Did I Sign Up To Do, Exactly?
- Simply, to celebrate and inspire Tri Deltas to give. Be a positive influence throughout the day, sharing the importance and impact of Tri Delta. Share about sisterhood, educational and leadership opportunities, and academic and emergency financial support for members!
- On social media, share how Tri Delta’s Foundation makes a difference! All Tri Deltas benefit from educational programming and leadership opportunities and some from scholarships and emergency financial assistance. We are sisters helping sisters, and that’s something to celebrate!
- Help us say thank you! Create thank you videos to our donors using our CauseVid platform.
Why Is Raising Money So Important?
Tri Delta’s Foundation is 100% supported by the gifts of our sisters and friends. Funds raised on Day of Giving provide:
- Need- and merit-based academic scholarships with $626,300 in graduate and undergraduate scholarships awarded this year to 227 sisters.
- Emergency assistance through our Crescent Fund to provide a lifeline for collegiate and alumnae sisters facing an unforeseen financial crisis such as unexpected medical expenses, a parent who loses their job or a natural disaster like a hurricane or fire.
- Transformational programming for members, like Body Image 3D and Behind Happy Faces, new member education and much, much more.
Tri Delta’s Day of Giving helps keep Tri Delta strong. Tri Delta’s Foundation does what no other nonprofit does—supporting and empowering our members around the world. We are sisters helping sisters, investing in the next generation of women and the future of Tri Delta.
Every gift—big or small—makes a difference!
