Arizona The chapter won the Dean's Award for excellence for the third year in a row. Further, the chapter claimed many second place honors: social programming, chapter management, alumnae relations, recruitment and new member programming.
Stephanie Gutierrez was a finalist for freshman Greek woman of the year, and Katie Baker and Laura Overstreet were both finalists for senior Greek woman of the year.
Cincinnati For the second year in a row, the chapter won the Overall Premier Chapter Excellence Award (2007-2008) at the University of Cincinnati. In addition, they also achieved:

Chapter president Kristen Ligouri won Greek Woman of the Year and Sarah Stamper won the Greek Woman Athlete of the Year.
Kansas State Theta Iota was named top chapter on campus for the third year in a row at the university’s annual Greek awards ceremony last night. In addition, Molly Hamm was named Greek Woman of the Year. The chapter also received gold awards in several programming areas, including public relations and new member education.
Miami/Florida Brittany Tran received the award for Panhellenic Outstanding Coordinator. The chapter received the Gamma Excellence in Risk Management Programming Award, and Molly Jones received an individual award for the same honor. Molly also received the Marilyn Gerstein Coller Award for Outstanding Senior. Chapter president Katie Kearney received the Alpha Epsilon Phi Marilyn Gerstein Coller Award for Outstanding Junior. Brittan Etzenhouser received the Mary B. Merritt Panhellenic Award and the Dean's Award for Service to the Greek Community.
Mississippi Chi Chapter at the University of Mississippi was recognized at the Order of Omega Greek Awards Banquet. The chapter won the adcademic achievement award for having the highest grade point average of any chapter on campus. Member Elena McPherson received the sophomore achievement award, and Jordyn Eiland received the outstanding new member award; with that, Jordyn also received the Dr. Judith Trott Scholarship. Given that the there are nine sororities with 90 new members each, the outstanding new member award is considered quite prestigous. It's no wonder the chapter had such an great showing at the awards banquet; Whitney Rayner, the chapter's advisor, won outstanding advisor award.
Texas/Dallas Epsilon Theta at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), one of Tri Delta’s newest chapters, is already proving itself as a leader in the UTD Greek community. At the 2008 Greek Awards banquet, the chapter won a number of awards: Greek Week Outstanding Spirit, most tickets sold for Greek Sing, Outstanding President of the Year (Andrea Bell), Outstanding Active Member of the Year (Katie Moreland), and Chapter of the Year. In addition, Janet Smuda and Lauren Hollis were inducted into Order of Omega.
Wyoming Stacia Berry, a Sarah Ida Shaw award honoree, received the Rosemarie Martha Spitaleri Award as the University of Wyoming's outstanding graduating woman. The award, established in 1964, recognizes Stacia for exhibiting the finest leadership, academic integrity and citizenship qualities. |
