As you know, several large fires are raging through southern California, forcing mass evacuations in many cities and counties. The University of California/San Diego campus closed and students were evacuated, and the Pepperdine campus was on lockdown; we have been in touch with both chapters at these schools and are happy to report that all members are safe and sound.
While the University of California/San Diego will remain closed for the week, members plan to resume normal activity when the campus reopens and air quality improves.
Pepperdine’s campus has already reopened and the chapter plans to resume its normal activity this week.
Thus far, both chapters report that they have no immediate needs and truly appreciate the outpouring of support the sisterhood has offered them. |
